Strengthening ties with South Korea
The president of the South Korean Myongji University, Dr. Byong-Jin You, came to visit Hochschule RheinMain (HSRM) on January 10, 2025. HSRM President Prof. Dr. Eva Waller met President Byong-Jin You for lunch to discuss expanding the existing partnership between the two universities.
President Waller took the time to introduce the German higher education system and our university of applied sciences. Together with Professor Claus-Peter Ernst from International Media Management, they discussed the differences and similarities between the German and Korean higher education systems and emphasized the importance of practice-oriented and project-based teaching. It was a chance to look at ways to build on the existing cooperation, which began in the summer of 2023.
