The Faculty of Engineering is one of RheinMain University of Applied Sciences' five faculties; it is mainly located in Rüsselsheim, while the courses of the degree program Media Engineering are also taught on the media campus in Hesse’s state capital Wiesbaden (approx. 25 km away) nearby the media center there.
The Faculty is managed by the Dean's Office; the teaching staff is represented by the Faculty Council, and the students by the Internal Faculty Student Committee. There are a number of other important committees responsible for dealing with specific issues. In the “International” tab, you will find the contact persons responsible for international relations in the University’s International Office (i.e., coordinator for international affairs, designee for recognition of qualifications, etc.). The Dean's Office is also always happy to answer questions of a more general nature.
The Dean’s Office is run by the Dean, assisted by two Vice-Deans and a Dean for Academic Affairs, two faculty administrators responsible for the faculty budget and public relations, and two secretaries.
