RheinMain University of Applied Sciences (HSRM) is deeply saddened by the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria. "The events in eastern Turkey and Syria are harrowing and of unimaginable magnitude," said President Professor Eva Waller. "Our thoughts are with all the victims and their families, with all those who fear for the lives of missing persons, and also with all the aid workers who are doing everything they can on the ground to alleviate suffering."

Anyone who wants to help can currently do so best with a monetary donation. The university refers to existing fundraising campaigns, such as Bündnis Entwicklung Hilft and Aktion Deutschland Hilft. HSRM students directly or indirectly affected by the events can contact the university’s counseling services.
