RECOGNITION OFFICE FOR FOREIGN PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

The Recognition Office for Foreign Professional Qualifications conducts the recognition procedures for foreign professional qualifications in regulated social professions according to the Hessian Child and Youth Welfare Code and the Hessian and the Hessian law regarding the recognition of qualifications in caring professions (SozBAG) on behalf of the Hessian Ministry of Higher Education, Research and the Arts (HMWK).

Persons who have the corresponding certificates can submit the following applications:

•  Application for recognition as childcare professional

• Application for recognition as state-recognized social worker, social pedagogue, curative pedagogue or childhood pedagogue
