What is it?
The focus on conceptual design creates a platform for the artistic and scientific reflection on space design within the Interior Architecture degree program. The goal of the master's degree program is to enable students to carry out conceptual work analytically, methodically and on an interdisciplinary basis. Teaching methods and contents lay the groundwork for the ability to think creatively and to work in an innovative and independent fashion.
The master's degree program focuses mainly on required elective seminars from the following areas
- interior space design,
- event design,
- corporate architecture.
The degree program also includes "impromptu projects" (draft 1-3) and modules from the areas of reflection and engineering sciences as well as the master's thesis including a thesis defense.
What can I do with it?
Graduates of the master's degree program can go on to hold management positions as project managers, department managers and office managers in architectural offices, planning and design offices or in companies in the construction industry (lighting/lamps/furniture). As specialists for design and atmosphere, they can also go on to become entrepreneurs themselves as office or agency founders.
