What is it?
The degree program Product Development and Manufacturing is a part-time master's degree program that offers outstanding professional and career opportunities and the option to pursue a doctorate, as well as paving the way for a career in senior levels of public service.
The degree program is organized in a manner that enables students to complete it in four semesters while simultaneously working. Attendance times are Friday afternoons and all-day Saturdays.
Students acquire state-of-the-art knowledge on the use of computer technology in engineering fields related to mechanical engineering. The degree program focuses on the cross-departmental interaction of all business units and on optimal computer support in the areas of development, engineering and manufacturing.
What can I do with it?
Production planning and management as well as life cycle management are key factors for the success of a company, as is the use of management information systems. Designing change processes and developing organizational structures are interesting potential tasks for graduates as are computer-assisted process planning and manufacturing or quality management.
