Professor from Malaysia visits HSRM

On January 20, 2025, Prof. Dr. Ulrike Stadtmüller and Prof. Dr. Daniel Münstermann from the Faculty of Engineering at Hochschule RheinMain (HSRM) received Prof. Dato' Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim from UCSI University Kuala Lumpur.
HSRM President Prof. Dr. Eva Waller had met the professor of chemical process engineering during a trip to Malaysia. Prof. Dato' Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim is collaborating with professors from the Universiti Malaya at the Ungku Aziz Centre for Development Studies. Universiti Malaya has been a partner university of HSRM since 2015 and is the oldest university in the country. Twenty-four students from Hochschule RheinMain have studied there since 2017.
Interest in collaboration
During the meeting, the participants thoroughly discussed the concepts of circular economy and exchanged views on cultural differences as well as practice-oriented teaching and research. While there is currently no partnership with UCSI University Kuala Lumpur, both parties, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim and Prof. Dr. Stadtmüller and Prof. Dr. Münstermann, expressed interest in research-level collaboration and discussed possible areas of collaboration.
