MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAMS: ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
The English requirements for the Wiesbaden Business School's master's degree programs are the CEFR levels as shown below.
CEFR is the abbreviation for the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment, a guideline used to describe achievements of learners of foreign languages across Europe and, increasingly, in other countries. It was put together by the Council of Europe. CEFR itself is neither a language test nor a language certificate, but a grading system.

For all these WBS master's programs with CEFR level B2 required, there is no need to provide proof of your proficiency in English through an exam. But you should be aware, that some of your courses will be taught in English.

For all these WBS master's programs with CEFR level C1 required, you can provide proof of your proficiency in English through an internationally recognized English exam (see table below) and submit a copy of the certificate with your application. Tests three years old or less are accepted. For older tests, please check with WBS' Head of Business English.
In addition, you can take the Oxford Online Placement Test OOPT, a computer-based English test, in the university's Language Center (Sprachenzentrum) and obtain the required point score for the program you wish to enter. For the WBS master's programs M.SC. in Sales & Marketing Management, you may also provide certified confirmation that your first professional qualification at the bachelor's level was completed entirely in English, which is accepted as proof of the required level of proficiency.
For the WBS master's programs M.A. in International Management, you may also provide certified confirmation that your first professional qualification at the bachelor's level was completed entirely in English in one of these countries:Ireland - UK - USA - Canada - Australia - New Zealand, which is accepted as proof of the required level of proficiency.
Master’s applicants who are unable to provide formal certification of the required English proficiency level C1 before the closing date for applications should apply anyway and submit proof of English proficiency when it becomes available. Proof of proficiency must be provided not later than the enrollment date in the admission letter.
