More than 700 guests attended Schloss Henkell last Friday to celebrate the graduation of the summer semester 2024 graduates. Prof. Dr. Till Dannewald, Dean of the Wiesbaden Business School, congratulated the students on their success: “It’s not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves,” he quoted Sir Edmund Hillary, first man to ascent the Mount Everest.

One of the successful students was Hilal. After studying insurance and finance, she now works at KT Bank AG in Frankfurt am Main. “My degree program was challenging, but good!” said Hilal after receiving her certificate. For many, starting their studies during the pandemic was a big challenge. “It took getting back to on-site classes to make real friends. Overall, I acquired a lot of new skills during the program,” said Markus, who has now completed a bachelor's degree in business administration after training as an IT specialist. As always, the best graduates were honored by the Betriebswirtschaftliche Gesellschaft Wiesbaden e. V. (Wiesbaden Business Association).

University Vice-President Prof. Dr. Andreas Brensing said “I am very confident that you will get of to a great start in your professional life” and invited the graduates to stay in touch with Hochschule RheinMain (HSRM). Wiesbaden’s Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende asked the students to stay in touch with the city as well. He also expressed that their “studies are a commitment to internationality”. An idea that is also represented in the English name of the faculty. Internationality and open, global markets are indispensable for a good future.
