LABORATORY FOR BIOMECHANICS
Human biomechanics is the interdisciplinary field linking engineering and human biology. In the laboratory for biomechanics, students work on various teaching and research topics:
- Anthropometry
- Kinematics and kinetics of human movement
- Measuring strain on the human body
- Endoprostheses
- Exoprostheses
- Mechanical properties of biomaterials
- Sensor technology and the human body
- Ergonomics
- Medical aids and appliances
